Manchester - Glasgow Manchester - London London to LAX

Well here we are updating you all on the journey so far.
Finished work and packed up the house, disptached the cat and off we headed with nothng but our clothes for the next 6 months up to sunny Glasgow and the 2nd most important wedding of this year!!
Deanna and Dan's wedding was beautiful and everything a wedding day should be....sunny, funny and happy. We waved the newly weds off on their Honeymoon in France.
And we embarked on our tour on Scotland. The weather was fantstic for the 10 days we were there. We visited Millport, Stirling, Edinburgh Festival, Elie and Cuper.
It was good to have a few days in the UK before we headed off out of the country to sort out the teething problems (those of you in the know will know!!)
Back to Manchester and a last goodbye to a few good pals and off to the airport.........
Oh Dear...here we go!!
We flew British Airways and due to the strike all our flights were delayed...nevermind we have 9 months to do this trip. So we were rerouted to get us to LA, but our bags were not!! Oops
LA with no luggage - fantastic!!!
But meeting up with Kirsty and a few of her friends was great even though we were the worst dressed out of the lot of them. Now that is OK for Neil as he is very used to that, but not for me.......
2 days later and many calls to the airport our baggage is returned to us but without our tent. So we are now doubley homeless.....no house....no tent......
All things considered we are doing pretty well. LA was fantastic and we did all the usual things, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Muscle Beach (Neil did his thang - very impressive ladies!!), Beverley Hills and Hollywood. We have done it all.
Onto Fiji but that will have to wait for another time.
Ta ta for now
Alison and Neil
